Hello everyone! It’s Tuesday, November 12, 2024, and once again, I'm ready to dive into today’s Wordle challenge. Let’s see where this puzzle journey takes us as we navigate a series of guesses, clever deductions, and a touch of tension to finally crack the code. Buckle up; it’s going to be an interesting one!

Today Wordle Hints

  • Number of Vowels: The word contains one vowel.
  • First Letter: The word begins with the letter ‘F.’
  • Repeated Letters: There are no repeated letters in today’s wordle.

Example Hint:

  • Imagine something being carried by the wind.
  • Think about something that could be associated with movement through the air.

Try to piece these hints together, and you should be able to get it! If you still want the answer then follow me along or get the answer at the end of the article.

Starting with Three

Today's suggestion comes from Steve (shoutout, Steve!), who simply wrote in with "three." Whether it's cryptic or just a unique word choice, I figured, why not? Let's start with "three."

Unfortunately, we drew a blank—no letters at all! It’s been a while since we had a zero-hitter, but it’s all part of the game. So, with no letters to work with, we move to plan B.

Guess Two: Audio

Since "three" left us empty-handed, I pivoted to “audio” to cover the remaining vowels. This move is a classic strategy when the initial guess doesn’t reveal any hits, especially with only one vowel in the mix.

Just as I was getting nervous, we hit upon an “O”—but it’s out of position. It’s not much, but we’re back in the game!

Guess Three: Spool

With the “O” now our only confirmed letter (though not in its proper place), I decided to test a word with a double “O” to see if that would reveal more clues. “Spool” seemed like a solid choice, especially since “L” is a relatively common letter.

Not quite, but we made progress. Now we know “L” is present but out of position, which helps narrow things down. The “O” also still needs to find its correct slot.

Guess Four: Block

With more consonants left to try, I went with “block” to evaluate a new set of letters and maybe nail down a few more consonants.

Well, “L” found its place at last, but the “C” and “K” were duds. We’re inching closer, though the remaining possibilities seem elusive.

Fifth Guess: Flown"

After careful analysis, I was running out of options. It felt like the only reasonable word left that fit the clues was “flown.” My nerves were kicking in, knowing this was guess five, but it was time to take the plunge.

Success! “Flown” was the answer! Relief washed over me; it was definitely a close call, with only one guess left to spare.

Today's Wordle was intense from start to finish. With limited clues and a cautious approach, this solve required patience and thoughtful deduction. How did you all fare with "flown"? Was it as tricky for you as it was for me?

As we look forward to tomorrow’s puzzle on Wednesday, I’ll be kicking things off with the word "wrong." Let’s hope the choice doesn't live up to its name! Join me back here tomorrow for another Wordle adventure, and as always, share your experiences in the comments below. Happy solving!
