Hello, Wordle enthusiasts! It’s Sunday, November 3, 2024, and Ready for another Wordle journey? Today, we kick things off with a little 70s TV throwback and some classic detective work! Grab your coffee, and let’s dive in.

Today Wordle Hints

  • First Letter: The word begins with the letter ‘B.’

Example Hint:

  • In a blacksmith’s forge, the fiery orange and yellow flames that are used to shape metal are often described with this word due to their intensity and brightness.
Still need answer let's find out!.

Kicking Off with “Hutch”

Our friend Joe Quake suggested the word “Hutch,” a clever nod to the 70s cop duo Starsky and Hutch. Not only is this a fun reference, but “Hutch” is a word we haven’t tried before. Let’s see how it goes!

Guess 1: Hutch

Unfortunately, “Hutch” didn’t give us much to work with—no correct letters. No worries; that’s part of the game! On to the next guess.

Shifting Gears with “False”

For my second attempt, I opted for “False.” This choice mixes up the vowels and some common letters, which can often lead to new clues.

Guess 2: False

Good news! “False” revealed an E in the correct position and the letters A and L in the wrong places. We’re getting closer, and I’m feeling optimistic!

Trying Out “Plane”

With the new clues, I decided to try “Plane” to narrow down where the A and L might fit. It’s all about elimination and logic here!

Guess 3: Plane

Success! Now we have L, A, and E in the correct positions. This is looking promising, but we still need that fourth letter.

A Few Final Guesses

With “L,” “A,” and “E” locked in, the puzzle now lies in finding the elusive fourth letter. There are a few strong candidates, like R for “Blair” or D for “Blade.” I’m also considering M for “Blame” and Z for “Blaze.” So many options!

I could take a risk here, but instead, I’ll try a safer strategy and go with “Murky” as an evaluation word. This will test several potential fourth letters at once.

Guess 5: Murky (Evaluation Word)

Surprise! None of the letters in “Murky” were correct. That narrows down our options considerably. The only reasonable answer left seems to be “Blaze.”

The Moment of Truth

After much suspense, it’s time to go with “Blaze.”

Guess 6: Blaze

Victory! “Blaze” is the answer! It took all six guesses, but we solved it. Sometimes, the Wordle like to keep us on our toes. Today was one of those days, but we persevered!

Wrapping Up

Today’s puzzle was a reminder of how tricky Wordle can be when multiple answers seem plausible. If I’d been playing in hard mode, I might have been caught in a loop of guesses without “Blaze” making the cut. That’s the beauty of Wordle: a mix of strategy, logic, and sometimes a little luck.

Thanks for following along and share your starting words in the comments. Tomorrow, we’ll be tackling Monday’s Wordle with the word Style to start off. Dress up, log in, and join the fun!
