Starting Guess “Clone”

Today’s suggestion comes from a dear friend Sheamus MC Johnson, who recommended we start with the word “Clone.” Now, I’ll admit, I’m often mistaken for celebrities like Ryan Seacrest, Tom Selleck, and even Fabio. But imagine Ryan Seacrest as a clone! Anyway, I liked Sheamus's suggestion, so we’re going with “Clone” as our starting word.

First Guess Results:

  • L – Correct, but not in position
  • Other letters – No match

It’s always a good feeling when we light up any letters in the first guess. Now, let’s strategize our next move.

Guess Two: “Laugh”

With L confirmed but out of position, I wanted a word that could get us closer and also test a few other common vowels. After considering a few options, “Laugh” seemed like a good fit—it lets us explore U and A as potential vowels while keeping L on the board.

Second Guess Results:

  • U – Correct and in position
  • L – Still present but needs repositioning

We’re making progress! The U is exactly where it needs to be, and now we know L is in either the fourth or fifth position.

The Final Guess: “Truly”

With some educated guesses in mind, the word “Truly” seemed like a solid choice:

  • U is already in the correct position.
  • This guess tests T, R, and Y—some strong consonants that might help us wrap this up.

And the Answer Is…

Yes! “Truly” was the correct answer for today’s puzzle. A straightforward strategy and a bit of deduction carried us through to the win. Thanks, Sheamus, for the inspiration!

Tomorrow’s Starting Word: “Mouse”

Get ready to go low-key and “mousy” with our next starting word. Tune in tomorrow for another Wordle challenge, and as always, happy puzzling!
