Today's Wordle Answer:

If you don't want the today's wordle answer spoiled please don't read until you've played wordle! if you want the answer then keep reading to see the answer Having said that let's start solving the wordle of the day!

First Guess: "Sorry"

Worst Workshop suggested "Sorry" as our starting word, referencing a previous puzzle. I like this choice—it’s an interesting word, and I don’t think we’ve used it before. So, let’s see what we’ve got with "Sorry."

Oh! Look at that! We have an S and an R, both in the correct position. That’s an outstanding start and a very lucky break. Even better, we now know there is only one "R" in the word—an important piece of bonus information that will help narrow things down.

Second Guess: "Scrum"

In my day job, I work in technology, and when software developers meet to discuss projects, it’s called a scrum. That was the first word that popped into my head when I saw the board.

Something tells me there won’t be a vowel in the second spot. Maybe it’s just my instinct, but "scrum" feels like a strong possibility. It’s a word I use often in my daily life, so perhaps I’m biased—but sometimes, going with your gut is the best move. Let’s try "scrum."

Is the answer "scrum"? Yes, it is!

That makes it the fourth two-guess solve in the span of about a week! We had a long dry spell without a two-guess win, and now we’ve had four in just seven or eight days. Absolutely incredible!

As always, I’m curious to see how you did with today’s puzzle. There were definitely different ways this could have gone, so let me know your approach in the comments. I love seeing the variety of thought processes from everyone!

Tomorrow’s Starting Word:

Tomorrow is Thursday, and we’re going to kick things off with the word "upset." This could be a fun nod to March Madness, where underdog teams pull off shocking wins. Let’s see if it brings us more Wordle luck!

Thanks so much for reading and playing along! If you enjoyed this, please comment, and I’ll see you tomorrow for another round of Wordle. Happy puzzling!
