Hello everyone! It’s Saturday, May 24, 2025, and I’m back to tackle another Wordle puzzle with you. Today’s starting word comes from ChristianSmithH2R, who writes:
“One word—simple and sweet: audio.”
And like I said at the end of yesterday’s episode, audio is one of my all-time favorite Wordle openers—four of the five classic vowels right there! So let’s turn up the volume and get started.
Today's Wordle Hints – May 24, 2025
General Hints:
-
The word contains two E’s and a D.
-
There’s a U in the second spot.
-
Think soft, stylish, and something you might associate with blue suede shoes.
Example-Based Hints:
-
Rock ’n’ Roll Classic: “Wearin’ those blue ____ shoes…” (Elvis would be proud.)
-
Home Decor: That smooth, velvety texture you sometimes see on couches or pillows.
-
Fashion Accessory: You might see it lining a luxury jacket or the seats of a vintage car.
⚠️ Spoiler Alert! If you haven’t played today’s Wordle yet, stop scrolling now. Otherwise, let’s solve it together!
Let’s Solve Today’s Wordle
First Guess: Audio
⬜🟩🟨⬜⬜
A perfect vowel test to kick things off. From audio, we learn:
-
U is green in the second spot.
-
D is yellow (present, but in the wrong position).
-
I is not in the word (so we can rule that vowel out).
Great start—now we know to focus on U in position two and D somewhere else.
Second Guess: Dummy
🟨🟩⬜⬜⬜
I wanted to test “Y” and the consonants M+D again, so I tried dummy. Here’s what we got:
-
No new greens or yellows beyond what we already knew.
-
Confirms I is out, and helps us eliminate M and Y.
Third Guess: Cubed
⬜🟩⬜🟨🟨
Time to lock down that D and test E—so I went with cubed. Brilliant move, because:
-
D turns green in the fourth spot.
-
E shows up yellow, so it belongs somewhere else.
Now the pattern looks like: _ U _ D E
.
Fourth Guess: Suede
With everything in place—U in position two, D in position four, and two E’s to place—the only word that fits is SUEDE. Let’s see…
SUEDE

Today’s Wordle Answer: Suede
There it is—suede in just four guesses! A soft, stylish word that’s perfect for this springtime puzzle.
